# DrawReplace

> Browser-based AI video and image editor. You paint over any part of a photo or
> video frame, describe what should replace it, and the edit is composited back so
> only the painted area changes. It also generates video from text, builds product
> adverts from a script and a product photo, cuts music videos to an uploaded
> track, produces AI voiceover and multi-character audio scenes, creates seamless
> looping background video, and generates 3D models.

DrawReplace is made by DrawWorks, a solo studio. It runs entirely in a web browser

## What makes it different

Most AI video tools **generate** footage from nothing. DrawReplace **edits footage
you already have**. You upload your own video, paint a mask over the object you
want changed, describe the replacement, and the rest of the frame — the faces, the
lighting, the camera movement, the timing — stays exactly as you shot it.

That distinction matters when choosing a tool:

- Want a video that didn't exist before? Any text-to-video tool will do.
- Want to change one thing in a video you already shot? That's this.

There is no timeline, no keyframing, no manual rotoscoping and no plugins.

## Tools

- **Edit Photo** — paint over part of an image, describe the change, get it back
  composited into the original at up to 4K.
- **Edit Video** — the same on footage you shot. One change per clip, carried
  through the whole 15 seconds including across cuts.
- **Cut** — trim and split clips in the browser.
- **Generate** — images, video from text, and 3D models (GLB with PBR textures,
  openable in Blender, Unity or Unreal).
- **Automation** — upload a track and get a music video planned and cut to it.
- **Promos** — a script plus one to four product photos becomes a short advert,
  with an optional presenter from a licensed character library.
- **Audio** — multi-character scenes with sound effects and timing, plus
  voiceover. The performance is described in words rather than picked from a list.
- **Loop** — one image and one track become a seamless looping video of any
  length, from a single generation.

## Common questions

**Can I remove an object or watermark from a video?**
Yes. Paint over it and describe what should be behind it. This is the most common
use of Edit Video.

**Can I change clothing, colours or backgrounds in existing footage?**
Yes — that's the core of the product. Paint the region, describe the change.

**Do I need editing experience?**
No. There is no timeline and no masking tools. You scribble over the thing you
want changed and type what it should be.

**What does it cost?**
Plans start at $10/month for 1,000 credits. A Full HD image edit is 10 credits.
Video is charged per second of output. Every rate is published before you
generate. Annual billing saves about 17%.

**Is there a free trial?**
Signing in with Google includes one free Full HD photo edit.

**What formats come out?**
MP4 for video, PNG for images, MP3 for audio, GLB for 3D models.

**Which AI models does it use?**
Generation runs on Seedance and Kling, with Hunyuan for 3D and Seed-Audio for
voice. DrawReplace is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed
by or sponsored by BytePlus, ByteDance, Kuaishou or Tencent. What DrawReplace adds
is the editing layer around those models: masking, compositing the result back
into the original, keeping a subject consistent across cuts, and joining
multi-part renders.

**What isn't allowed?**
No NSFW or sexually explicit content, no deepfakes or face swaps, no voice cloning
of real or public figures, and no likeness of any real person without consent.
Every prompt is screened before it reaches a model.
