Terms of Service

DrawReplace, operated by DrawWorks ("we", "us"). Last updated: 27 July 2026.

By creating an account or using DrawReplace you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. The service

DrawReplace edits and generates media using third-party AI models. What we offer today:

• Edit Photo — paint over part of an image, describe a change, receive an edited image.
• Edit Video — the same on video, applied across shots of footage you supply.
• Cut — trim a clip. This runs entirely in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
• Generate — create images or video from a description.
• Automation — upload audio and receive a finished video assembled around it.
• Voice — synthesised speech, and talking-avatar video from an image plus audio.

Features may change, and any of them may be withdrawn. We'll tell you before removing something you've paid to use.

2. Accounts

You can sign in with Google or Microsoft, or with an email address and a one-time code. One person, one account. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

Any working email address is accepted. Creating multiple accounts to claim the free credit repeatedly is not permitted, and we may close accounts used that way without notice or refund.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 13.

3. Free credit, credits and subscriptions

The free trial is for verified sign-ins only. If you sign in with Google you receive one free Full HD photo edit so you can see how it works. It doesn't cover 2K or 4K images, video, Automation or Voice. Accounts created with an email address and code don't receive it and must buy credits before generating anything. This is an anti-abuse measure, not a judgement about you — every generation costs us real money and unverified accounts are trivial to create in bulk.

Credits are prepaid and priced in the app before you confirm. Key points, stated plainly:

• Every generation costs credits, including retries. If a result isn't what you hoped for and you generate again, that's charged again. AI output varies; we can't promise a specific result.
• If a generation fails on our side or the provider's, the credits for it are returned.
• Credits have no cash value, earn no interest, and are not transferable between accounts.
• Subscription pricing, renewal dates and included credits are shown at checkout and may change with notice for future terms.

4. Your content, and the rights you confirm

You keep ownership of what you upload. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service: to store your files, send them to the AI providers that process them, and return the result to you.

By uploading, you confirm that:

• You own the material or have permission to use it.
• Where a real, identifiable person appears, you have their consent to edit their likeness and to send it to an automated processor. This matters most in Edit Video, where footage of real people is the normal case. If you cannot obtain that consent, do not upload the footage.
• You are not uploading anyone under 18 in any sexual, suggestive or exploitative context, and you are not attempting to create such material.
• You have the rights to any voice you clone, imitate or synthesise, and to any audio you supply.

You are responsible for these confirmations. We rely on them.

5. What you may not do

• Create sexual content involving minors, or anything that sexualises a minor. This results in immediate closure and, where required, a report to authorities.
• Create material intended to deceive about a real person — false endorsements, fabricated statements, non-consensual intimate imagery, or impersonation for fraud.
• Generate content that harasses, defames, or incites violence against a person or group.
• Infringe copyright, trade marks or other rights.
• Attempt to bypass content restrictions applied by us or by the AI providers we use, including by splitting, obscuring or altering material to defeat automated checks.
• Resell, scrape or automate the service outside a written agreement with us.

We may refuse, stop or remove any generation, and close accounts for breaches. Serious or repeated breaches forfeit any remaining credits.

6. Third-party AI providers

We don't train or run our own models. Your uploads are processed by third-party providers under their own terms and content policies, which may be stricter than ours. A provider may reject material — footage containing recognisable faces is refused by some of them — and that refusal is outside our control. Where a provider rejects a request we don't charge you for it.

7. Outputs

You may use what you generate, including commercially, subject to these terms and to the providers' policies. We claim no ownership of your outputs.

We do not add watermarks. AI outputs are not unique: another user with a similar prompt may receive a similar result, and we can't grant exclusivity over anything generated.

Nothing generated here is a statement of fact by us. Check anything you intend to publish.

8. Availability

The service is provided as-is. We don't promise uptime, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it. Long renders currently depend on your browser staying open; if it closes, work in progress can be lost, and credits already spent on completed parts are not returned.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous three months, or USD 50.

You agree to cover our costs if a third party brings a claim against us because of material you uploaded or generated — most commonly a likeness, rights or consent claim.

10. Termination

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. Unused credits are handled under the Refund Policy. We may suspend or close an account for a breach of these terms, and will tell you why unless prevented by law.

11. Changes and contact

We'll update this page when the service changes, and the date above will change with it. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept it.

Prohibited content

You may not use DrawReplace to create, upload or attempt to create:

• NSFW or sexually explicit images or video, including nudity, sexual acts, and sexualised depictions of any person.
• Any sexual content involving, or appearing to involve, minors. This is reported, not merely blocked.
• Deepfakes, face swaps, or voice cloning of real or public figures.
• The likeness or voice of any real person without their consent.
• Graphic violence, gore, or content promoting self-harm, hatred or terrorism.
• Content designed to deceive — fake news, impersonation, forged documents or identification.
• Anything unlawful in your country or ours.

Prompts are screened automatically and generation providers apply their own checks. Attempting to evade those checks forfeits your credits and may close your account without refund.

Independence

DrawReplace is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by BytePlus, ByteDance, Kuaishou or any other model provider. Model names appear only to indicate which underlying model a published rate applies to.
